Tulkarm - Saba:
Israeli enemy forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 87th consecutive day, and for the 74th day against the Nour Shams camp, amid an ongoing escalation of incursions, raids, and vandalism.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that a loud explosion was heard this morning in the Jabal al-Iskan area opposite the Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm. It later emerged that Israeli enemy forces had detonated a suspicious object in the area.
WAFA also indicated that Israeli enemy forces continue their siege of the Nour Shams camp, deploying infantry units around it and within its neighborhoods, specifically Jabal al-Nasr and Jabal al-Salihin, amidst live ammunition and sound bombs. They pursue residents who attempt to reach their homes to check on them or retrieve any belongings, if any. They arrest young men among them and take them to military barracks in the area.
Last night, Tulkarm camp witnessed a heavy deployment of Israeli soldiers, who wreaked havoc and destroyed the property of its residents after expelling them, leaving the camp empty and devoid of any signs of life.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces were present at dawn today in the Al-Hadaideh neighborhood, conducting extensive searches and combing operations. They also fired flares into the skies above the camp, which was closed off with earth mounds and sections of it with barbed wire, isolating it from its surroundings.
In a related development, Israeli bulldozers and vehicles stormed the Al-Salam neighborhood and the Dhenaba suburb east of the city at dawn today. They patrolled the main streets and took up positions in various sections of the area, combing and searching the area.
Meanwhile, the city of Tulkarm is witnessing a daily escalation in incursions and raids on its neighborhoods and markets. These raids include the deployment of foot and mobile vehicles, amid provocative and arbitrary measures against Palestinian citizens, particularly young men, including detention, abuse, confiscation of their IDs and mobile phones, and, in many cases, arrests.
Israeli enemy forces continued their campaign of forced displacement of residents of the eastern neighborhood of the city, in the area adjacent to the Abu al-Foul neighborhood in Tulkarm refugee camp, forcing a number of families to evacuate their homes.
The Israeli enemy also continues to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, converting them into military barracks after forcibly evacuating their residents. Israeli forces stationed their vehicles and bulldozers in the vicinity.
The ongoing Israeli aggression and escalation against the city of Tulkarm and its two camps has resulted in the deaths of 13 Palestinian citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and arrested.
It also resulted in the forced displacement of more than 4,000 families from the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, comprising more than 24,000 citizens, in addition to hundreds of citizens from the northern neighborhood of the city after their homes were seized and a number of them converted into military barracks.
The aggression caused extensive damage to infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles, which were demolished and stolen. 396 homes were completely destroyed and 2,573 partially destroyed in the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, in addition to blocking their entrances and alleys with earth mounds.
