Gaza – SABA:
Al-Aqsa Radio on Wednesday mourned the death of Palestinian journalist Saeed Amin Abu Hassanein, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Bi’ah Street area in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.
The bombing also claimed the lives of his wife, Asmaa Jihad Abu Hassanein, and their young daughter, Sarah Saeed Abu Hassanein.
In its obituary statement, the station noted that the martyr had dedicated nearly 20 years to media work, contributing significantly in the fields of audio engineering and radio mixing.
The statement condemned the ongoing Israeli targeting of Palestinian journalists, describing it as an attempt to suppress the truth and silence the Palestinian narrative. Al-Aqsa Radio stressed, however, that such efforts would not succeed in breaking the will of the Palestinian people or silencing their free voice.
The station reaffirmed its commitment to the legacy of the martyr and his fellow journalists who gave their lives for truth and justice, pledging to continue its media mission in support of the Palestinian cause despite all challenges.
