Acting governor of Taiz Ahmed al-Masawa, along with Shura Council member Mahmoud Bajash, on Thursday visited Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Summer School in al-Jand to inspect the ongoing summer activities.
During the visit, accompanied by Brigadier General Mohammed Khaled (Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region) and Dr. Abdul-Malik Al-Mutawakil (Director of the Health and Environment Office), al-Masawi highlighted the crucial role of summer courses in safeguarding youth and children from false cultures and misleading ideas and in instilling a strong faith-based identity within them.
He stressed the importance of active participation in the courses' activities and programs to ensure the development of an aware generation equipped with Quranic culture and capable of confronting "false ideas and cultures."
Al-Masawa also pointed to perceived "enemy conspiratorial schemes" against Islamic peoples and the ongoing "American-Israeli aggression" against the country, emphasizing the need for everyone to recognize their responsibilities and stand united with the "revolutionary leadership."
