New York – Saba:
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) revealed on Thursday that its flour supplies in the Gaza Strip have been depleted, with only 250 food parcels remaining in its warehouses as of two days ago.
In a statement published on its website regarding the situation in Gaza, UNRWA warned that the Israeli-imposed blockade on the Strip, ongoing for more than 50 days, is causing a rapid depletion of essential humanitarian supplies, including food, fuel, medical aid, and children’s vaccines.
The agency pointed out that since the collapse of the ceasefire, Israeli forces have intensified their air, land, and sea bombardments on Gaza, expanded their ground operations, resulting in hundreds of casualties, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, and mass displacement.
