The death toll from Palestinian casualties in the Gaza Strip rose to 67 on Thursday, April 24, 2025, including women and children, as a result of separate Israeli airstrikes, including massacres in Jabalia and Gaza City.
Medical and civil defense sources reported that the most violent airstrike targeted a home housing displaced persons in the Ard Halawa neighborhood in Jabalia, killing 20 people. Others remain trapped under the rubble amid a severe shortage of rescue equipment.
The airstrikes targeted apartments and tents housing displaced persons, as well as civilian gatherings, and resulted in casualties in various locations, including the Zeitoun neighborhood, Deir al-Balah, al-Zawaida, Khan Yunis, and al-Tuffah. Al-Durra Children's Hospital was also targeted, rendering it out of service after its intensive care unit and solar energy system were destroyed.
Since the occupation resumed its military operations on March 18, at least 1,928 people have been killed, bringing the total number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip to 51,305 since the beginning of the aggression in October 2023, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
