The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) expressed its solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran—its leadership, government, and people—on Saturday evening, following the explosion that occurred at the Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas.
In a statement, Hamas said, "We extend our sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of the victims, praying to God to envelop them in His vast mercy and grant the injured a speedy recovery."
Hamas added, "We affirm our full confidence in the ability of the Islamic Republic to overcome the repercussions of this painful incident and continue its path of development and progress."
