Sana'a - Saba:
Ali Al-Saqaf, Deputy of the General Authority of Zakat, inspected on Sunday the activities of summer courses in the districts of Bani Hashish and Nihm in Sana'a province.
During his visit to schools in the Murabba’ Nihm Al-Sar Al-A’la area in Nihm District and Bani Hashish District, Al-Saqaf reviewed the implementation of activities, programs, and the turnout for the summer courses.
Deputy Al-Saqaf emphasized the importance of summer courses in equipping young people with diverse skills that enhance their cultural and faith-based abilities, derived from the Holy Qur'an, Qur'anic culture, the Prophet’s biography through Qur'an memorization and recitation. He highlighted their role in protecting youth from misguided cultures and destructive ideologies.
He praised the students' engagement with the summer activities and their benefit from the programs in Qur'an memorization, recitation, and various scientific, cultural, and cognitive fields. He urged students to make the most of these courses to develop their talents and intellectual abilities in different areas.
The Zakat Authority Deputy also commended the efforts of the organizers of the summer courses, which include purposeful and high-quality activities and programs. These initiatives contribute to capacity-building, equipping youth with awareness, knowledge, insight, and Qur'anic culture, and protecting them from the dangers of "soft war" targeting the rising generations.
