The Ukrainian Air Force announced on Monday the loss of a Su-27 fighter jet during a combat mission.
A statement posted on the Ukrainian Air Force's Telegram page read: "On the morning of April 28, 2025, while carrying out a complex combat mission... a Su-27 fighter jet belonging to the Air Force was lost."
The statement indicated that the circumstances of the accident are still under investigation, and a special commission has been formed for this purpose.
It also reported that the pilot survived, and the location of the accident has not been disclosed.
