Brussels - Saba:
The European Union said it is considering filing a formal complaint with the World Trade Organization against the United States, following the failure of bilateral negotiations to reach a solution regarding the tariffs imposed by the US.
The EU explained in a statement that the United States represents only 13% of global trade, noting that there are vast opportunities to strengthen economic partnerships with other countries, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, which represents approximately 30% of global trade.
The EU confirmed its interest in reaching a trade agreement with the Asia-Pacific region.
