Supreme Political Council member Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor sent a message of condolence and sympathy on the passing of Yemen’s dean of inventors, Engineer Mohammed Ali Al-Afeefi, who died at the age of 76 after a life marked by creative contributions.
In his message addressed to the deceased’s family and the entire Al-Afeefi household, Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the late engineer’s virtues and innovative career, through which he presented a wide range of technological inventions, totaling 31 patents, the most famous of which was a TV news bulletin reading device.
He highlighted the deep national loyalty of the late Al-Afeefi, who rejected numerous offers from foreign countries to work abroad, preferring instead to remain in his homeland and serve its interests above personal gains. Dr. Bin Habtoor emphasized that Yemen, with Al-Afeefi’s passing, has lost an exceptional national figure and one of its greatest innovators and geniuses, whose names will remain etched in the memory of Yemenis for generations to come.
Dr. Bin Habtoor expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to the deceased’s children, family members, the entire Al-Afeefi household, and the people of Amran Governorate, praying to Almighty Allah to bestow His vast mercy, forgiveness, and pleasure upon the departed, grant him paradise, and grant his family, loved ones, and admirers patience and solace.
