Dozens of Moroccans took part on Sunday in a protest against the Israeli displacement and starvation policies targeting the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to local sources cited by the Palestinian Safa news agency, protesters gathered in front of "Jbari" Square in the city of Fez, in response to a call by the "Moroccan Coalition for Palestine Support."
Participants denounced the "Western, especially American, support" for the occupying entity in its crime of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The protesters condemned the forced displacement and systematic starvation of Palestinians, as well as the continued targeting of civilians in Gaza.
They waved Palestinian and Moroccan flags and chanted slogans such as: "No to normalization and submission," "Popular salute to the Palestinian resistance," "Rest in peace, martyr — we will continue the struggle," and "Shame! Gaza is being destroyed."
Since October 7, 2023, Zionist enemy forces have been committing acts of genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international appeals and International Court of Justice orders to stop.
