Moscow - Saba:
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that its air defense systems destroyed 11 Ukrainian drones last night over four regions, in addition to the Black Sea.
Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "Last night, from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM Moscow time, air defense systems on duty destroyed 11 Ukrainian drones."
The ministry explained that six drones were destroyed over Oryol Region, two over Bryansk Region, one over Kursk Region, one over Crimea, and one over the Black Sea.
Ukrainian forces target Russian border areas in Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and Rostov Regions with drones and missiles almost daily.
For its part, Russian forces have responded by targeting exclusively Ukrainian military infrastructure, as well as military-industrial complex facilities and everything related to the storage, repair, or manufacture of military equipment, as well as centers for the concentration of Ukrainian armed forces personnel and foreign mercenaries.
