Education ministry announces secondary school exam results

Sana'a - Saba:

The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research announced today the results of the secondary school examinations for the academic year 1446 AH, with a success rate of 89.88 percent.

At a press conference held today in Sana'a, Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi congratulated high school students on their success in the exams, extending his congratulations to the leadership, parents, and the Yemeni people.

He explained that the total number of students who took the exams was 213,822. 204,853 students attended, 8,969 were absent, 184,130 passed, and 20,723 failed.

Minister Al-Saadi praised the steadfastness and perseverance of educators in the field, who have made the school year a success despite the exceptionally difficult circumstances the country is experiencing due to the ongoing aggression. He also commended the efforts of the committees working on the exams and everyone who contributed to their success in the capital and the governorates, including local authorities, security committees, and media institutions.

He stated that students can obtain their results by calling the landline number "160" or by sending the seat number via an SMS via the Yemen Mobile network.

During the press conference, the Minister of Education contacted the top students in the Republic by phone to congratulate them on their excellence and achieving top ranks. He urged them to continue to excel and succeed in their academic studies to fulfill their role in building a bright future.

Following this, Deputy Minister Dr. Hatem Al-Duais, Acting Undersecretary of the Curriculum and Education Planning Sector Hamid Ghathaya, and Undersecretaries of Basic Education Hadi Ammar and Secondary Education Dr. Zaid Al-Hadour reviewed the names of the top students in the science section, while Director General of Examinations Najib Al-Matari reviewed the top students in the arts and English sections.
