Taiz - Saba:
The funeral was held on Monday in Taiz province for the five children who were martyred in the crime committed by the so-called "Al-Islah Militia" last week when they fired a mortar shell at Al-Arsum area in the Hishmah district of Al-Ta'aziyah district.
The bodies of the martyrs—Mubarak Yasser Al-Shara’abi (14 years old), Osama Abu Bakr Ali (12 years old), Bashir Akram Al-Fadli, Anas Jawad Saleh (14 years old), and Ahmed Ali Al-Atmi (12 years old)—were laid to rest.
The funeral was attended by Taiz province deputy Mansour Saddam, Al-Ta'aziyah district director Abdulkhaleq Al-Junaid, education sector official Abduljalil Al-Samai, mobilization official in the district Mohammed Al-Thaybani, as well as social figures, activists, human rights advocates, and crowds of citizens. The mourners emphasized that the blood of the children martyred in Al-Arsum and other massacres committed by the aggression and its mercenaries is a stain on the conscience of the international community and the perpetrators of these crimes.
They condemned the continued targeting of civilians and residential areas by the aggression’s mercenaries, stressing that the blood spilled through treachery and aggression will not go in vain, and the perpetrators will be held accountable sooner or later.
The funeral prayers for the martyred children were held in Al-Arsum, Hishmah district, before their burial.
