Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized on Monday that the Zionist regime is a hegemonic regime project to weaken, occupy, and plunder countries' resources and divide the region.
According to the Iranian news agency, IRNA, during his meeting with Iraqi Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari on Monday, Pezeshkian added: "We must stand united against this common enemy, support each other, and strictly avoid division and discord."
He continued: "We consider the government and people of Iraq and all other Islamic countries as our brothers, and we will continue our efforts to strengthen unity, cohesion, and brotherhood among the Islamic nation."
