Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei stressed that the Zionist entity's aggression against Iran constitutes a blow to the diplomatic process and international standards, and that negotiations with the United States were never based on trust in this country.
The Iranian Mehr News Agency quoted Baghaei as saying in an interview with Al-Arabiya TV on Tuesday: "The Zionist entity's aggression against Iran constitutes a blow to the diplomatic process and the minimum level of trust in the American side. Imposing war on Iran means imposing insecurity and instability on all countries of the region."
Baghhaei continued in the interview, saying: "What happened was not... Not only is it a blow to the diplomatic process, but it has also shaken the minimum level of trust in the American side."
He added, "I reiterate that we have never negotiated with the United States based on trust, because its history of violating obligations related to the Iranian nuclear issue is well known."
He emphasized that the Zionist entity's aggression against Iran is a blow to diplomacy, international norms, and the entire region.
