Islamabad - Saba:
At least 54 people have died in the past 24 hours due to heavy monsoon rains in Pakistan.
The National Disaster Management Authority stated on Thursday: "In the past 24 hours, 54 people were killed and 227 injured in Pakistan, with the majority of the fatalities recorded in Punjab."
The authority added: "The toll was recorded as of 8:00 a.m. today (3:00 GMT)."
