The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed that Israeli authorities have escalated their threats against the office and its staff, in an attempt to prevent them from reaching civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Ilona Godin, OCHA's Director of Public Relations and Information in occupied Al-Quds, told the Palestinian Safa News Agency that Israel has repeatedly threatened the office and taken escalating measures, including refusing to extend the visa of the current head of the office, Jonathan Whittall, which expires next August.
