Tribal Reconciliation resolves fatal dispute between Ans & Qifah Tribes

Dhamar – Saba:


Tribal mediation efforts have successfully resolved an accidental homicide case between the Anas tribe of Dhamar Governorate and the Qifah tribe of Al-Bayda Governorate. The incident, which occurred in mid-April, claimed the life of Youssef Mohammed Mohsen Al-Mushki from the village of Mushk in Maghrib Anas District.


At a tribal gathering chaired by Sheikh Mohammed Al-Maqdashi, advisor to the Supreme Political Council, and attended by elders from both tribes, Shura Council member Sheikh Hussein Al-Maqdashi announced a full pardon on behalf of the victim's family. The pardon absolves the perpetrators from Al-Zoub area in Qifah's Al-Qarishiyah District, granted "for the sake of Allah and in honor of the attendees."


Advisor Al-Maqdashi praised:
- The victim's family's exceptional act of forgiveness
- Tribal leaders' mediation efforts
- The alignment with directives from Yemen's leadership to:

End cycles of retaliation
Strengthen social cohesion
