The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) released a video on July 30 showing Israeli forces opening fire near a food distribution center in the Gaza Strip.
The footage captures gunfire erupting in close proximity to dozens of Palestinians waiting in line to receive humanitarian aid, according to a report by Sputnik.
Earlier on Friday, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) reported that 1,373 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since May 27, 2025, while waiting for humanitarian assistance in Gaza.
In a press statement, the OHCHR office in the occupied Palestinian territory said that 859 people were killed near Gaza Relief Agency locations and 514 were killed along aid convoy routes. The vast majority of these killings were carried out by Israeli forces.
The office also documented that in just two days—July 30 and 31—105 Palestinians were killed and at least 680 others injured along aid convoy routes in northern Gaza, southern Khan Younis, and near Gaza Relief Agency sites in central Gaza and Rafah.
The statement confirmed that Israeli gunfire and shelling continued along food convoy routes and near aid distribution sites, despite the Israeli military’s July 27 announcement of a limited suspension of operations to allow for humanitarian relief.
