Ramallah – Saba:

The Israeli occupation army on Monday demolished a Palestinian home and several residential and agricultural structures in the Ramallah and Jericho governorates of the occupied West Bank, under the pretext of "building without a permit."

According to local sources cited by Anadolu Agency, the demolitions took place in the Deir Hajla area of Jericho (east) and in the town of Rafat, southwest of Ramallah in central West Bank.

The sources said that Israeli enemy forces raided Rafat and demolished a two-story house, a wooden shack, a garden, and surrounding walls, alleging that they were built "without permits in Area C."

In Deir Hajla, Israeli enemy bulldozers demolished eight tin structures used for housing and livestock farming, under the same claim.

Earlier in the day, the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that Israeli authorities carried out 75 demolition operations in July alone, targeting 122 structures, including 60 inhabited homes, 11 uninhabited ones, 22 agricultural facilities, and 26 livelihood sources.

During the first half of this year, the Occupation army demolished 588 structures, affecting 843 Palestinians, including 411 children.

During the same period, 556 demolition notices were issued, including 322 inhabited homes, 18 uninhabited, 151 agricultural structures, and 97 classified as sources of income and others, according to the same Commission.

Israeli enemy authorities prohibit Palestinians from building or expanding in Area C without obtaining permits — a process that local and international organizations describe as nearly impossible.

In parallel with its genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including occupied al-Quds.
