Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shaiban met on Monday with Jawf governor Faisal Haidar to discuss the health situation in the governorate.
The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Nasser al-Qaoud, focused on plans to establish and equip kidney dialysis and oncology centers in the governorate to alleviate the suffering of patients.
During the discussions, Minister Shaiban and his deputy affirmed that Jawf would be given priority in the ministry’s plans to enhance healthcare services.
They expressed the ministry’s readiness to proceed with the establishment and equipping of the dialysis and cancer treatment centers, in order to reduce the burden on patients who currently have to travel to other governorates for treatment.
