The draw for the Asian U-17 qualifiers, held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, placed the national team in Group B.
Group B includes Yemen, host Kyrgyzstan, Cambodia, Laos, Guam, and Pakistan.
Thirty-eight teams are participating in the qualifiers, divided into seven groups. Three groups will compete in a single-round, all-vs-all format, with the group winners advancing to join the nine teams that have already qualified directly for the Asian finals.
