PARIS March 28. 2024 (Saba) - The French Foreign Ministry announced that it will transfer more than €30 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in 2024, two months after it decided to suspend its funding.

"France will provide the necessary funding to ensure favourable conditions in the region," the French Foreign Ministry said, according to the Palestinian Ma'an news agency today.

France's announcement of the suspension of funding, published on January 28, followed a suspected involvement of UNRWA staff in the October 7 attack.
