SANA'A April 25. 2024 (Saba) - Under the slogan “Science and Jihad,” the capital, Sana’a witnessed this year early preparations and intense efforts to hold summer courses for the year 1445 AH in all districts.
On Saturday, the Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses launched summer course activities in various targeted schools and mosques in all directorates.
From year to year, the effectiveness of summer courses is evident in consolidating the faith identity and sound awareness among children and society, and their positive impact in raising the generation on good morals, purifying souls, and confronting enemy conspiracies against the nation.
One of the most prominent and important goals of summer schools to protect young people from false cultures, prepare a conscious generation armed with Qur’anic culture and faith education, and confront the enemy and his plans that target the nation religiously.
An educational project
Summer courses are an educational and cultural project that builds a conscious human being enlightened by the culture of the Holy Qur’an, this requires everyone to sense religious and national responsibility and take effective action to make the activities and programs successful for the current year.
Today, the nation needs to push sons and daughters to enroll in summer schools, especially in light of the soft war waged by the enemies of Allah.
Based on the interest of the leader of the revolution, al-Sayeed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and a translation of his directives, the capital, Sana’a witnessed during the last period widespread momentum and interaction in the preparations,and mobilization for the launch of the summer courses.
As part of the preparation program for the launch in all directorates, extensive meetings were held for the leadership of the local authority and the subcommittee for summer activities and courses, to discuss the guidelines, programmes, goals and responsibilities that fall on everyone.
The preparation plan included activating the role of official and community bodies, local, executive, educational and cultural leaders, and social and influential figures, in supporting the summer courses, making them successful, and achieving their faith and cognitive goals.
The head of the subcommittee, Khaled Al-Madani, pointed out the importance of summer courses in consolidating the connection to Allah and the Holy Qur’an and instilling faith identity.
He stressed the importance of preserving the rising generations, investing in their free time, and protecting them from destructive ideas, false cultures, and soft war.

Al-Madani pointed out the need to pay attention to activities and programs that contribute to enhancing knowledge and awareness among students and giving them abilities and skills that benefit them and the nation.
He explained the objectives of summer education in enhancing religious and cultural awareness among young people to confront enemies.
The Chairman of the Committee stressed the importance of everyone feeling responsible for carrying out this religious duty and working in a team spirit to make the summer session activities a success, which would achieve the goals and reach outcomes that contribute to strengthening the Qur’anic culture.
He praised the unprecedented level of official and community action and interaction and all the efforts made in preparing to launch activities in all directorates.
He Stressed the importance of this project, which aims to build a generation armed with awareness, faith and knowledge and with a solid will to build the nation.
Director of the Education Office, Abdul Qadir Al-Mahdi, confirmed the completion of preparations in various educational aspects and the preparation of the study plan, programs and various activities for the summer courses.
He explained that the preparation plan included implementing workshops and training courses for workers in the field, targeting 1,702 summer school officials and cadres and executive committees in the directorates.
Al-Mahdi pointed out that the objectives of the summer courses are to instill concepts, values, faith identity and Quranic culture in the souls of students.
He stated that the courses include recitation and intonation of the Holy Qur’an, scientific, creative, sports, skill, artistic and cultural activities, competitions, entertainment and trips.
The Director of the Education Office stated that the data of summer school principals has been updated, the technical problems in distributing schools in each district have been addressed, and the follow-up of providing and equipping the needs of typical and closed schools has been addressed.
He referred to preparing and providing the needs of scout camps, and organizing the schedule for implementing activities in schools.
The Director of Education also stressed the keenness to activate the role of the executive offices and directorates in support and mobilization, both within the framework of its extension and tasks.
