ANAA, March 20 (Saba) - Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdulaziz al-Kumaim discussed on Tuesday with Resident Representative World Food Program (WFP) Stephen Anderson the aspects related to strengthening the cooperation frameworks between Yemen and the program.
The meeting also discussed aspects of coordination to support the activities of program in Yemen, as well as the implementation of a number of projects included in the activities of the World Food Program in Yemen and the themes related to the Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan for the year 2019.
The two sides reviewed the nature of the efforts to prepare Yemen's humanitarian response plan for the new year and mobilize the necessary resources to finance it.
The minister stressed the importance of keeping pace with the priority of humanitarian needs in Yemen.
For his part, Anderson stressed the keenness of WFP to continue its activities in Yemen and provide food support to the affected groups.
