SANA'A January 01.2023 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat on Sunday affirmed that the enemy has stopped its escalating military war, and started another war, which everyone must confront with awareness, insight, and cohesion.
During his meeting in Ibb province with the leaderships of the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Dhalea and Lahj, President Al-Mashat indicated to the importance of everyone being at the level of aspiration and betting in strengthening the home front.
He warned against all the voices calling for division, saying "Those who call for division are trying to prepare the ground for the invaders and occupiers, in one of the forms of mercenarism, and this is what we will not allow."
President Al-Mashat pointed out that the national responsibility obliges all the people of the country, to be one hand to confront the aggression in all the provinces.
"Strengthening the military side and supporting the fronts is still a priority for us, especially as we stand in a fragile truce, and we expect the war to return at any time, and we are ready for it, God willing."
President Al-Mashat emphasized the necessity of reforming and correcting the state institutions and activating them, providing services to citizens, and paying attention to cleanliness.
In his speech, President Al-Mashat praised the steadfastness and sacrifices of the leaders and people of these provinces, which thwarted all the enemy's bets and its efforts to drag the war into these densely populated areas.
He urged all officials to move to provide services to citizens without discrimination, given that the statesman is at the service of all members of society.
“We are in dire need to present a high and elegant model of justice and to deter the influential people," President Al-Mashat stressed, confirming that everyone is under the penalty of accountability and the law.
President Al-Mashat noted that the media discourse should be in accordance with national constants, preserving the internal fabric, and confronting the incitement of enemies.
He praised the people of the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Dhamar, Dhalea and Lahj for their role in confronting the aggression and supporting the fronts within the scope of the fourth military region, calling for making use of all capabilities and energies to support the fronts, as the enemy is still ready.
