SANA'A March 15. 2023 (Saba)- His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, today, on Wednesday, visited the General Authority for Zakat.

During the visit, President Al-Mashat was briefed on the projects of the General Authority for Zakat, which will be launched during the blessed month of Ramadan, and benefit the poor and the needy.

He blessed the efforts of the Zakat Authority and their arrangements for projects that will be implemented during the holy month at a cost of more than 15 billion riyals.

President Al-Mashat praised the role of the bodies cooperating with the General Authority for Zakat in completing Ramadan projects and reaching the deserving groups of the poor and needy, stressing that all difficulties will be overcome to complete these projects.

He expressed the hope that the efforts of the authority and its cadres will be doubled to implement projects with high quality, in a way that contributes to their success and reaching the target groups of the poor and needy.
