The projects for which the foundation stone was laid included the operation of the Ain Ali re-pumping station with solar energy, the second phase with a capacity of 250 kilowatts; drilling the Wadi Al-Ajam well and operating it with solar energy with a capacity of 155 kilowatts; raising the efficiency of water distribution; utilizing solar energy, reducing fuel consumption; and operating the re-pumping station; and the operation of the Al-Nawaem re-pumping station with solar energy, the second phase with a capacity of 221 kilowatts.

The projects for which the foundation stone was laid also included the implementation of a concrete storage water tank with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters at the Ain Ali station, the implementation of a sewage network for the city of Al-Shahel, the operation of the Mahalla and Al-Janfur wells, the operation of the Wadi Haiban re-pumping station by solar energy with a capacity of 197 kilowatts, and the operation of the Al-Nawaem re-pumping station by solar energy, the third phase with a capacity of 171 kilowatts.

During the inauguration and laying of the foundation stone, the President expressed his happiness at the opening of 20 wells within the rural water projects in the province to meet the needs of the population in the targeted rural areas.

He confirmed the keenness of the Supreme Political Council to support community initiatives to implement service and development projects that serve citizens and alleviate their suffering in light of the repercussions of the aggression and the blockade.

President Al-Mashat stated that this visit to Hajjah comes within the framework of concern and keenness to closely inspect the citizens' needs in the province’s districts.
