SANA'A May 25.2023 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, sent on Thursday a cable of congratulations to Lebanon's people, army, and resistance on the occasion of the 23rd Resistance and Liberation Day.
In the cable, President Al-Mashat expressed his warm congratulations to the brotherly Lebanese people, their valiant army, and their courageous resistance.
"Yemen looks with great respect and honor at the creators of the Lebanese Resistance and Liberation Day, with its leaders and sons of its free resistance fighters, who sowed martyrdom in the paths of struggle to sprout liberation and solid victory," the president said.
President Al-Mashat pointed out that the Resistance and Liberation Day had inspired the free people of the world as it was a strategic turning point at all levels, which confirmed that the Israeli enemy is defeated in the fields of honest confrontation.
He reiterated Yemen's support for Lebanon and its right to restore its occupied territory, hoping that the country's political forces would be able to elect a president and restore order in official institutions in order to maintain security, stability, and civil peace.
