SANA'A December 05. 2023 (Saba)-Transport Minister in the caretaker government, Abdul Wahab Al-Durrah, and the Governor of Hodeida, Muhammad Qahim, inspected today,Tuesday, the progress and movement of handling, unloading ships and the services provided to ships in Hodeida port.
During the inspection visit to Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation activity , Al-Durra and Qahim toured all sections of the port and the berths.
They looked at the mechanism of unloading and transporting goods, and listened to an explanation from the head of the corporation, Engineer Bahri Yasser, his deputy, Zaid Al-Washli, and specialists in the port. The totality of the services and facilities provided by the operating sectors to receive ships, unload their cargo of goods, materials, and transfer them immediately.
While Hodeida Governor praised the efforts made to raise the pace of work at Hodeida ports, stressing the importance of technical , financial support, and meeting the operational requirements of the institution so that it can carry out its national and economic tasks.
He praised the facilities provided at Hodeida ports for major importers, the reception of ships, and the speedy completion of unloading, inspection and deportation procedures.
