Speech by Al-Sayyid Abdul Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi (May Allah Protect Him) regarding the Latest Developments
Wednesday, 7 Rajab 1445 AH, January 18, 2024 AD.
I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the outcast.
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.
O Allah, confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.
Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
One hundred and four days has been passed since the start of Zionist Jewish criminality against the Palestinian people. During this period of one hundred and four days, the Israeli enemy committed over two thousand massacres and crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. More than two thousand crimes of genocide have been committed, with the majority of martyrs being children and women. This is accompanied by imposing a siege, preventing food and medicine, using starvation against the Palestinian people, and preventing access even to water—imposing a siege to hinder access even to water and other essential humanitarian needs!
It is an oppressive aggression, with all its comprehensive destruction, mass killings, violation of the Palestinian people's rights, and clear and unmistakable criminality. The Zionist enemy is practicing against the Palestinian people all that is categorized as a crime by laws, customs, religious standards, and all those criteria humans use in describing what constitutes a crime. This is witnessed and acknowledged by various countries around the world. Everyone acknowledges these crimes, despite the American and British denial, which is a deviant position among all nations, states, peoples, and countries and driven by their affiliation with Zionism and involvement in the criminality. Even so, they often find themselves with no choice but to acknowledge them in their statements.
The whole world acknowledges and witnesses what is happening there. The actions of the Israeli enemy are not occurring in the shadow of ignorance and lack of knowledge by nations so that has affected their level of concern and their sense of responsibility towards the oppression experienced by the Palestinian people; rather, everyone knows, and the United Nations—as an entity that considers itself concerned with problems, crises, wars, and injustices—is aware of what is happening there. The Security Council knows, so does other organizations with specific relevance, such as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that is concerned with Muslims and what happens to them. Everyone knows what is happening to the Palestinian people and the magnitude of the oppression they are subjected to. The Arab League, which specifically encompasses Arab countries, also knows. All of them know, but they have contented themselves with statements containing descriptions and condemnations, without taking practical actions that rise to the level of responsibility on the one hand and to the tremendous oppression experienced by the Palestinian people on the other hand.
All the entities that present themselves as entities with a specific role or responsibility largely remain spectators. Despite the fact that there is a humanitarian, ethical, and legal responsibility on those entities, they bear witness against themselves as they claim to have a role and responsibility to fulfil and be concerned with taking action in the face of events that fall far below the level of what is happening in Palestine.
There is also negligence on the part of the majority of the Islamic countries in the Arab region and elsewhere. This is so despite the religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibility and the collective interest of the entire Ummah to stand with the Palestinian people in confronting a common enemy of all Muslims that targets them and conspires against them in their religion and worldly affairs by all means, and despite the grave danger to our Ummah resulting from its complacency towards the actions of the Zionist Israeli enemy against our beloved Muslim Palestinian people. When Islamic countries in the Arab and non-Arab regions adopt a strategy of appeasement and passive observation towards the Palestinian people, this will be the case with any other Muslim country, whether Arab or otherwise. They will only watch the ongoing events [without taking any actions].And behind the continued criminal practices of the Zionist Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people and its ongoing aggression on Gaza, despite its failure to achieve its stated objectives, whether concerning the prisoners captured by the Palestinian mujahidin or other objectives such as eliminating the mujahidin in Palestine—all those objectives that are false and evil have fallen and were not achieved, and will not be achieved. However, the Zionist enemy continues heinously in its criminality, and the daily toll that usually exceeds a hundred martyrs, most of whom are children and women, sometimes reaches several hundreds, three hundred, four hundred, and more. And in the least cases, the toll exceeds a hundred martyrs in a twenty-four-hour period, most of whom are children and women, not to mention the wounded fell in thousands up to today—the martyrs are estimated to be in thousands, while the wounded are estimated to be in tens of thousands. Likewise, the cases of displacement and forced migration are in the hundreds of thousands. As for the continuation of the Zionist Israeli enemy in its atrocious and hideous crimes, in full view and hearing of the whole world, everyone knows that behind it, behind that audacity to continue that hatred and criminality, lies American participation, the American role, and direct American contribution.
The Americans are implicated with the Israelis in all their crimes. They have provided various forms of support. It supplies the rockets that kill Palestinian children and women, as well as bombs, tank shells, and various types of military support. American military personnel have come to participate in the crimes, overseeing the criminal operations targeting the Palestinian people and planning the destruction of Gaza and the killing of Palestinians, not to mention the American aircraft that conduct surveillance and provide information used to target the Palestinian people. Additionally, the Americans consistently provide financial aid and extensive political support, including at the United Nations Security Council, where they use their veto power against any resolution to halt the aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza. They openly and explicitly object to any cessation of war on the Palestinian people. When there are calls [for action] arise from this or that country, the Americans promptly object and insist on the continuation of aggression and Zionist crimes against the Palestinian people. They have also provided media support, and as a result, they provide the Israeli enemy with another form of support, assistance, and collaboration in continuing its heinous crimes, unparalleled in the world, against the oppressed Palestinian people. This form includes preventing other countries from providing any actual support to the Palestinian people and targeting those who take action, as is the case with our dear people and the Axis of Resistance.
So the Americans work with the Israeli enemy, participating in everything they do against the Palestinian people. However, behind the scenes, the Americans directly engage in targeting the Palestinian people, preventing any support for them, and targeting those who support or stand with them in practical ways. This is evident about the Americans.
Moreover, the Americans have sought to gather support from multiple countries for the Israeli enemy, pushing European countries that submit to, obey, and follow their orders to provide the Zionist enemy with all forms of support, as in the case with Germany, France, Italy, and some other European countries. As for Britain, it is that subservient, compliant, and submissive entity, and it is also one of the arms of Zionism. Britain is an old Zionist arm that has been serving the Zionist lobby in the world even before America itself. They also sought to besiege the Palestinian people, incite against them, and label them terrorists. The European Union convenes to label the Palestinian people and their heroic mujahidin and leaders as terrorists.
[We see] all this support for the Zionist enemy despite the capabilities it has and can use against the Palestinian people and despite the difficult circumstances they [the Palestinian people] experience. The Americans with all its immense and advanced capabilities and with all its international influence, Britain with all their capabilities and influence, and prominent European countries such as Germany, Italy, and France (the major European powers) stand with all their weight and capabilities to provide military, political, and financial support, in all forms, to the Israeli Zionist enemy, who possesses massive military capabilities, including nuclear capabilities and nuclear weapons, and manufactures tanks, aircraft, and various types of military equipment. It possesses different types of weapons, including some of the most advanced ones. It has military factories and a large army with hundreds of thousands of fighters, as well as a huge reserve force: It has comprehensive military readiness. It is an entity whose entire existence and reality is shaped as a military entity. Additionally, it possesses vast economic capabilities: Jews usually own major transcontinental companies and have immense financial and economic resources. With all of that, the countries that have great economic potential stand with the Zionist enemy, despite the capabilities that it has, against the Palestinian people, who lack weapons and have only limited quantities of simple arms for their heroic mujahidin, along with some medium weapons and missiles with limited range and capability—the Palestinian people, who are tortured, oppressed, and persecuted, whose land is occupied, and whose economic capabilities are at ground zero, virtually non-existent. They are a people whose land has been occupied by those enemies who plundered their wealth and seized their resources. Despite that, the Americans, British, Germans, French, and Italians stand with the Israelis with their immense and vast military and economic capabilities to kill the oppressed Palestinian people—whose land is occupied and who are defenseless and lacking economic resources—to torture them, to destroy their homes, to demolish their modest capabilities, and to target their homes and kill them inside their homes, aiming to destroy and target the Palestinian people and Palestine as a land and a nation. This is what is happening.
What is the reason for this hostility, this criminality, and this brutality? What is behind this great seriousness in aligning themselves with the Israeli enemy, utilizing all their capabilities to participate in its blatant and heinous crimes, which are condemned by all countries of the world and all peoples? Why do they do all of this? Why do they have this considerable concern? And why do they move forward with such seriousness and great concern?
In spite of his old age—having reached a level of senility, weakness, and deterioration that has adversely affected his health, mental capacity, and physical abilities to the extent that climbing up or down the airplane stairs becomes challenging—Biden promptly headed towards occupied Palestine after the seventh of October to directly and personally express his support for the Zionist enemy and his alignment with it. He did not excuse himself by acknowledging his advanced age and his compromised mental, psychological, and physical condition. Despite all of that, he believed that he should travel to Palestine from the utmost ends of the earth—coming from a distant place, over nine thousand kilometers away—to reach occupied Palestine, stand with the Zionist Jews, say that he is a Zionist, and pledge that he will stand with the Zionist Jews against the Palestinian people, participating in the persecution, oppression, and killing of the Palestinian people.
So the Americans and the British stand with seriousness, interest, continuity, and prioritization to support the Zionist Jews, even at the expense of their own people's true interests and their own country. Why is this interest? It is not surprising for America to have this orientation, nor for Britain.
Many leaders in America and in many official American institutions are either Zionists who have commitments due to their affiliation with Zionism and their connection to the Zionist Jewish lobby, or others who are submissive due to desire or fear. That is, even if they are not Zionists—like those who have developed a doctrinal and intellectual association to Zionism and believe that Jews are the chosen people of Allah, that it is the duty of the entire West to stand with and support them, and that there is an obligation to eliminate all Muslims and eradicate them to empower Jews to rule the world, in addition to other Zionist ideas and beliefs—even if some do not have this affiliation, connection, and association with Zionism and Zionist belonging, they definitely exhibit submission to it:
- .
Biden described himself as a 'Zionist'. This means he is one of those who have an affiliation with Zionism. Similarly, Blinken obviously stated that he had come to occupied Palestine to express his position in support of the Zionist Jews in Palestine against the Palestinian people, as a Jewish rather than as an American official. There is no doubt that he is a Zionist as well. In fact, this is the case for many leaders in official American institutions: They have a Zionist affiliation, and they view Jews from Zionist perspective. They have action orientations to serve the Jewish Zionist lobby worldwide. Besides, they consider this to be a commitment obligatory to fulfill. In pursuit of this, they are ready to do whatever the Zionist Jewish lobby asks of them, even if it involves clear crimes and openly wrong policies or goes against the interests of their country or their people—it does not matter [to them]. Indeed, they consider Zionist commitments above all else and obligatory for them to fulfill, and they feel compelled to execute them regardless of the consequences. They operate on this basis. They, in fact, operate based on this premise. This is also the case for many in the Democratic and Republican parties in America. Therefore, they compete even in elections, and one of the most important aspects of their competition is who can provide more support to Israel. They seek to appease the Zionist Jewish lobby due to its level of influence in America, which has this influence and impact.
Then they also move according to that, disregarding all considerations that stand in their way fulfilling their commitment to Zionism and carrying out what the Jewish Zionist lobby demands of them. There is no regard for ethics, values, laws, international obligations, or international organizations. Neither the United Nations, nor the Security Council, nor anything else holds any importance. They regard those commitments, in favour of Jewish Zionists, above all their considerations and disregard all legal, ethical, customary, and humanitarian considerations that they usually employ in other situations outside their right contexts. All human rights are no longer important: If the matter serves the interests of Jewish Zionists, there are no rights left for children, and there are no rights left for women. The list of rights is completely erased. And they reveal their true face, showing their reality to all peoples and to all countries of the world. It is clear tyranny, evident criminality, arrogance, and a blatant and evident disregard for all rights and considerations. This is exactly what is happening in all these days, for over a hundred days, in Palestine. The Americans participate in the daily heinous crimes, crimes of genocide, and provide clear and evident support for their continuation. They engage in them, sponsor them, and protect them to ensure their continuation, insisting on them and paying no attention even to the fact that they will tarnish their image.
Their oppression, aggression, criminality, and injustice, while killing thousands of children and women in Palestine, especially in Gaza, demolishing homes, and occupying land—they do all of this with audacity for the sake of Jewish Zionism, considering that it is what they should do in order to be loyal and obedient to Zionism and fulfill their obligations to it.
In contrast, we, Muslims in the entire Islamic world, should think how we should act as a targeted ummah. Those do what they do from a position of oppression, tyranny, aggression, and criminality; they are not acting from a position of self-defense or defending rights or anything. They come from the farthest corners of the earth, from distant lands, to our Islamic world, with distances spanning over nine thousand kilometers, some even ten thousand, some six thousand, and others three thousand. Thus, they fly enormously distant distances and come to our countries. So what should we do as a targeted ummah and oppressed peoples? What are our obligations towards our just causes, towards our rightful position?
Since Britain brought in the Jewish Zionists and enabled them to occupy Palestine during its occupation of the country so that the British would only leave after enabling the Jewish Zionists to occupy Palestine and building them as a force capable of meeting this demand and achieving this goal, the oppressed Palestinian people have been suffering ever since. They are a people whose land has been occupied, whose resources have been confiscated, and whose homes have been demolished. They suffer criminal practices every day, from that time until today, throughout decades, nearing eighty years. We are approaching the eightieth year, and they continue to endure this suffering, experiencing it on a daily basis. Homes have been demolished. The Jewish Zionists have gone so far in occupying their land and homeland, and they still commit those crimes on a daily basis, including daily killings. Every day they commit murders; however, the issue varies: At certain stages, there is a comprehensive escalation, such as what is happening now in Gaza, and sometimes it is at lower and lesser levels. They target farms, uproot olive trees, and continually seize farms, lands, and houses in various parts of Palestine; they have completely taken over and usurped many places and are still displacing the remaining residents and inhabitants in some other areas. This has also occurred along the borders of Palestine with Jordan during this stage.
Ther are also daily crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in the West Bank, in addition to what it does in Gaza, including daily invasions, attacks on Palestinians in their homes, and daily kidnappings of them to prisons. Thus, the Jews practice all forms of oppression against them. However, in the eyes of the Americans and Europeans, this Palestinian people, who have been suffering from this oppression for decades, do not have the right to defend themselves or their dignity, nor do they have the right to protect themselves, their families, their homes, their homeland, or their sacred sites which are threatened and violated by the Zionist Jews, and whenever they carry out any operation, they are condemned and criticized!
It is natural for the Palestinian people, due to their suffering, to take action, to confront this oppression committed against them, and to embark against their enemies, the Zionist Jews, who occupy their homeland, plunder their resources, and commit all forms of injustice and criminality against them.
That is why the mujahidin in Palestine, supported by the Palestinian people who stand with them, strive to fulfill this sacred duty by standing up against the oppression committed by the Zionist Jews and defending the Palestinian people, their clear and legitimate rights, and their completely clear and just cause. Within the framework of their just cause, they set forth to strive in the cause of Allah (Glory be to Him) and carry out this sacred duty. Throughout all these days (more than a hundred days), the mujahidin in Gaza stand with unwavering determination and devotion, as well as a great motive of faith. They remain steadfast in the face of the destructive, lethal Israeli machinery and persist while relying and depending on Allah (Glory be to Him). The West's sole concern is to designate them terrorists and to discourage them from confronting the Zionist enemy and standing up against its aggression, despite all that it does.
The Palestinian people and their heroic mujahidin, with their patience, perseverance, and steadfastness, have obligations towards themselves, their children, their women, and their legitimate rights. They have legitimate rights, a just cause, and humanitarian, faith-based, and moral obligations—they have obligations that encompass all considerations, and they have a just right in all respects (humanitarian, legal, and other respects). They have the right to defend themselves and confront the enemy that kills them, destroys their homes, occupies their land, loots their resources, and annihilates their children and women. Even so, the Americans condemn them for that!
The Americans believe that due to their commitment to Zionism—as they belong to Zionism—they have the right to stand with the Israelis to kill children and women, demolish homes, excel in committing crimes against the Palestinian people, send dogs to maul the bodies of the wounded until martyrdom, target hospitals and schools, destroy mosques and desecrate them, and burn copies of the Quran. They believe that they should do all of that because they are Zionists and that no one should oppose or condemn them for what they do. However, they condemn the Palestinians and discourage their based-on-jihad movement based on their just cause, their rightful position, and their evident grievance, which is as clear as the sun.
Notice when we compare between what the Americans regard as something that falls within their right, something that they have to do, and something that is part of their obligations—because of a sole reason: their Zionist affiliation—and what we should do as oppressed and targeted nations within the framework of our legitimate rights, our just causes, our clear grievance, and our obvious and rightful positions, it is a bizarre comparison!
The humanitarian, legal, and legitimate right and religious and faith-based commitment belong to the Palestinian people in their jihad and effort to confront the Zionist enemy and stand up against its tyranny and oppression. What the Americans and British want from the Palestinian people is to stand by and remain in a state of submission and inaction, without any reaction against the Zionist Jewish enemy: When it kills their children and women, they should stay silent, surrender, and freeze without any response, and when their homes are demolished, their land is occupied, their homeland is seized, and their holy sites are targeted, they are expected to keep quiet and submit! Why is that? It is because those are Zionist Jews. This is also what the Americans expect from the entire Islamic world, from any country that has an issue with the Zionist enemy. Trump, at that time, shamelessly declared the Syrian Golan Heights as a gift to the Zionist enemy! This is the attitude of arrogance, tyranny, criminality, and oppression shown by the Americans and the Zionists.
As for the position of the free people of our Ummah in the Axis of Resistance, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and its active front where it sacrifices martyrs every day and targets the Zionist enemy with daily strikes, the free people and mujahidin of our Ummah from the Iraqi people, and the rest of the free people of the Ummah—when they mobilize against American and Israeli tyranny and against Jewish Zionist criminality, they move with manifest right on their side and in response to evident oppression and faith-based and moral obligations. We have every right and all considerations, as an Islamic Ummah, in Arab countries and elsewhere, to mobilize in support of the Palestinian people. We have a humanitarian, moral, and religious and faith-based obligation to fulfil.
If the Americans give themselves the right to come from a distance of over nine thousand kilometers, from the farthest reaches of the world, to our region, our countries, our waters, and our seas, to support the Zionist Jewish enemy (the occupier, aggressor, oppressor, and criminal who kills children and women and commits aggression while being in a position of aggression, transgression, oppression, and criminality), then how is it not our right (based on our religious, humanitarian, and moral obligations) to stand with the oppressed Palestinian people, who are attacked and see their children and women being killed and their homes being destroyed, and who suffer from hunger, persecution, and oppression? They are part of us, belonging to us as a Muslim nation, and they are also part of the Arab nations and the Arab Ummah. They are part of them in terms of belonging, lineage, religion, language, and national identity. How can we not stand to support the Palestinian people for the sake of Allah, as we have obligations due to our faith, our obligations to Allah?!Biden and Blinken—the Americans and the British who belong to Zionism, consider themselves to have obligations to some Jewish rabbis and the leaders of the Jewish Zionist lobby, who are criminals with a criminal and aggressive ideology, despising humanity and considering others as less than true humans. The Jewish Zionist lobby has ambitions to seize the entire world and its wealth, and it has an aggressive attitude towards the whole world. The leaders of the Zionist Jewish lobby are a handful of criminals, among the most wicked beings, and the worst of humanity in terms of criminality. They have a criminal ideology and a devilish aggressive inclination. It is known about them that they worship and idolize Shaytan, and they have a devilish ideology that idolizes Shaytan. Therefore, their practices are criminal, and their policies are aggressive and criminal.
How can we not move within the framework of values and morals, while those people move within the framework of evil, crime, tyranny, and all the vices, disgrace, and shameful acts, in a savage, criminal, and morally bankrupt manner, devoid of all values and morals?!
How can we not move within the framework of our Ummah's true interests to push back against those evildoers who pose a threat to our Ummah, targeting it in both its religious and worldly affairs, and who are not only a danger to the Palestinian people, who are not only fighting (being in the forefront) for their just cause but also standing against the enemy of the entire Ummah?!
How can we not move, based on our religious obligations and all those aspects that are honourable aspects: goodness against evil, jihad in the cause of Allah (the Almighty) against those disbelievers who fight for the sake of Taghout, for the sake of arrogance, and for the sake of injustice and aggression?!
How can we not move to stand with the oppressed against those oppressors who stand with the oppressor?! How can we not stand up to the oppressor, to tyranny, and to aggression?! We have religious and moral obligations.
If the Americans and the British believe that they have to stand with [the Israeli enemy] through all that they have been providing so far—fighting, providing financial support, coming from the farthest corners of the earth into our countries and our region, while in the position of the criminal, oppressor, aggressor, occupier, etc.—how can we not seriously move within the framework of our legitimate rights and our moral and humanitarian obligations towards the peoples of our Ummah and the Palestinian people, who are part of us?!
We have a religious obligation based on our affiliation to Islam and faith, and our belief in Allah, His messengers, His prophets, His scriptures, His true path, and His blessed teachings, so how can we not take action and act upon these sacred and blessed teachings from Allah while they [the enemies] follow false and evil instructions from their figures and leaders in the Zionist Jewish lobby? It is incumbent upon us in the sight of Allah (Glory be to Him) to fulfill our religious obligations arising from our faith and to perform jihad in the cause of Allah. How can our jihad in the cause of Allah not necessitate confronting and resisting this savage, monstrous, and heinous criminality practiced by the Zionist Jews, who shamelessly violate everything? They ruthlessly kill thousands of women and children, violate human life, occupy lands, plunder resources, and subject people to various forms of oppression. They also brazenly target sacred sites, despite their connection to Allah's prophets, and direct their aggression towards the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where the Prophet (PBUH&F) embarked on his night journey. If the Jews, Zionists, and Americans all have moved, how can we not act within the framework of jihad for the sake of Allah to confront all of that? If we do not carry out jihad against this tyranny by the Israeli Jews, the Zionist Americans, and the Zionist British ones, then when will we carry out jihad? Against whom will our Ummah strive? Against any tyranny, any crime, any evil, any disbelief, any arrogance will our Ummah strive if it does not stand now against that tyranny, disbelief, and crimes committed by the Americans, the Israelis, and the British.
In all respects—in response to our faith-based affiliation, for our prosperity in this life (to be a strong and esteemed ummah that stands up to its enemies who target it), and with the consideration of goodness in the Hereafter (to enter Jannah, to attain the pleasure of Allah (the Almighty), and to be saved from His punishment)—we must carry out jihad and take action.Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran, {'Do you think you will enter Jannah without Allah proving which of you [truly] struggled [for His cause] and patiently endured'}[Ali 'Imran 3:142], and He tells us in the Holy Quran to {'Mobilize, light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and yourselves in the way of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew'}[At-Tawbah 9:41]—it is better for us in this life, as it makes us a mighty, free, and independent ummah that is capable of repelling oppression, injustice, and humiliation and standing up against its criminal and wicked enemies who arrogantly and tyrannically seek to crush our Ummah, occupy our lands, seize our resources, and subjugate our people.
Allah (Glory be to Him) has made it among our fundamental responsibilities to carry out jihad in His cause. In fact, He has made it a test of our sincerity in faith, as He says, {'And We will surely test you until We make evident those mujahidin [who strive for the cause of Allah] among you and those who are patient, and We will test your affairs'}[Muhammad 47:31].From this perspective, we embark on our position in supporting the Palestinian people, as the Zionist Jews keep killing them in acts of genocide, occupying their land, destroying their cities, and targeting the sacred sites of our Ummah, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque. So this has to do with our faith commitment, and within the framework of this faith commitment, we must be more serious and active in response to the Americans' movement that is based on their commitment to Zionism.
The Ummah today stands between two commitments: the commitment of the Zionist Americans and the faith-based commitment of our Ummah. From this standpoint, our beloved Muslim Yemeni people—the Yemen of faith and wisdom—have taken action. If they had not taken action, this would have totally contradicted and tarnished the saying of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F), 'The belief is that of the Yemenites.' However, the Messenger of Allah does not speak out of his inclination; he speaks what Allah reveals. And it is Allah (Glory be to Him) Who revealed to him about this nation and its role as the standard-bearer for jihad in the cause of Allah within the framework of its affiliation with faith, from the dawn of Islam until the Day of Resurrection.
Based on this faith affiliation and this faith commitment, our dear Muslim Yemeni people have taken a position, both in words and actions, to fully support the oppressed Palestinian people and their heroic mujahidin. At the military level, they have utilized ballistic and guided missiles. At the naval front, they have targeted ships affiliated with Israel, preventing them from reaching the ports of occupied Palestine to support the Zionist Jews, who are starving the Palestinian people in Gaza, depriving them of water, food, and medicine, and committing genocide against them. This position is driven by our faith, and the Americans, who persist in taking a false, oppressive, and criminal position based on tyranny and arrogance, should understand what we mean by our faith-based affiliation and position. Our faith-based position is one we live and die by. We are ready, within the framework of our religious position, to sacrifice ourselves and our wealth in the cause of Allah, to give everything in the cause of Allah, to offer the highest level of sacrifice, and to face all challenges with the help of Allah and reliance on Him, the Almighty. The value, outcome, and credibility of this religious affiliation become evident in such a situation, under such circumstances, at this stage, and in the face of this level of tyranny and criminality. When Allah (Glory be to Him) said in the Holy Quran, {'Only those are believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and have never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the cause of Allah: Such are the sincere ones'}[Al-Hujurat 49:15], [He makes it clear that] truthfulness is manifested when words are accompanied by actions and actions are consistent with words. This is what credibility entails.
Based on this, our people have moved in an effective way that affected the enemies of Allah, the Zionists, and inflicted billions of dollars in losses upon them. The naval action has been of a tremendous impact, and this is what we want and strive for. From the very beginning, we invoked Allah to enable us to take an active and effective stand in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their heroic mujahidin. By Allah's grace, we have succeeded in taking this position that has impacted our enemies and greatly angered them. We do realize the extent of its impact by noticing how angry and provoked they have become because of it. The American and British alignment with the Israelis that escalated to the point of aggression and declaring war on our country—starting with the targeting of our navy and then launching airstrikes and missile strikes from the sea, which represents an aggression against our country's sovereignty and entangles them in a war with us due to their Zionist commitment—attests to the effectiveness and impact of this action taken by our dear people and their forces that fight in the cause of Allah, the naval action that has filled the enemies with outrage to such an extent that they cannot tolerate its continuation. It has become a problem and a genuine pressure factor on the Zionist enemy, leading them to start their aggression. The aggression against our dear people by the American and Israeli forces—starting with the attack on the navy that resulted in the martyrdom of a group of our brave brothers, followed by four rounds of airstrikes and missile bombardment, the latest of which occurred yesterday—is a violation and aggression: It directly violates Yemen's sovereignty and is a direct assault on the Yemeni people. The Americans keep deliberately saying, 'the Houthis, the Houthis', but what they are doing is an assault on the Yemeni people. This position represents the position of the Yemeni people, and anyone who doubts that should witness the millions of our dear people marching in Sana'a and various provinces. The position is a position of our people, and the aggression is an aggression against our people. The war that the Americans and British have involved themselves in is a war against our dear people.
First and foremost, this aggression will not alter our people's position and their faith-based commitment to support the Palestinian people and the residents of Gaza and to keep targeting Israel-linked ships. This is evident in the ongoing operations against these ships, the latest of which was carried out yesterday. Rather, that will extend to include American and British ships. None of that will change anything about our position. The Americans need to understand that when the matter involves our faith-bad positions, our commitment is unwavering. It cannot be shaken by intimidation, attacks, bombings, crimes, or any form of pressure. None of these factors will ever alter our position. Our position remains steadfast and unwavering. We continue to act with effectiveness and impact, relying on the assistance of Allah, the Almighty.
Secondly, it will not impact our military capabilities. In the first round of airstrikes, aggression, and missile bombardment, the Americans portrayed to the world that they targeted our missile platforms and capabilities. However, they eventually admitted that they did not achieve this objective. It was indeed a mere illusion and media propaganda with no basis. The Americans failed to learn the lessons from the aggression they have been supervising for nine years. They know that the more intensive the aggression became against us throughout those years, the better and larger we enhanced our military capabilities in terms of range, accuracy, power, and dealing with the technologies possessed by the enemies. Therefore, we affirm to the whole world that the longer the American-British aggression continues, the more and more it contributes to developing our military capabilities. The Americans even realize the different type of weapon used to target the ship yesterday. Thus, the Americans must understand that the continuation of their aggression, which is intended to provide protection for that Zionist criminality committed against the Palestinian people and prolong it against the people of Gaza—this aggression against our country and people will only enhance our military capabilities.
Thanks to Allah, I have good news to our people: There are indeed tangible steps being taken now to enhance our military capabilities. Nothing will affect our morale in any way. Our people are a jihad-performing nation. They have been facing an aggression for nine years, an aggression supervised by the Americans and involved a blockade. It has destroyed everything in this country, and our people have been facing an intensive blockade and suffering from it.
With their faith-based affiliation and their identity rooted in faith, our people possess a strong will and readiness to endure whatever might result from their honourable position, be it consequences in the form of hardships, sacrifices, or suffering. They are prepared for that and are accustomed to all forms of warfare.
The fact that the Americans and the British have entered the war directly, and that we have become in direct confrontation with the Americans, the British, and the Israelis, is not something we fear even a little. Rather, we are greatly delighted by that, and we thank Allah (the Almighty) for this great blessing, for this great honour: to be in direct confrontation with the Israelis, the Americans, and the British, who represent the source, essence, and origins of terrorism. They are the origins of evil, criminality, and tyranny; they are the worst of Allah's creation in terms of their injustice, tyranny, criminality, and corruption in the earth. They are the origins of corruption, and they are the source of worry, evil, and conspiracies against human society. It is a great blessing that we have become in direct confrontation with them because their policy and strategy in all previous stages have been to target us through others, and to always be the side that benefits and does not need to lose or exert itself. Rather, they do benefit by targeting our Ummah through turning its sons against one another and using these countries or entities to target those countries or entities. And thus, we are very delighted. It is a great honour for our dear people to be in direct confrontation with those villains, criminals, leaders of disbelief, tyrants, arrogant ones, oppressors, and corruptors in the earth. It is a great blessing that we are no in direct confrontation with the evil trio: Israel, America, and Britain. This is a blessing; it is not something that frightens us, worries us, or affects our morale. As a Yemeni people who belong to faith, we trust in Allah (the Most High), rely on Him, and have faith in His truthful promise. He (the Almighty) says, {'O you who have attained faith, if you support Allah, He will support you and strengthen your foothold'}[Muhammad 47:7]. Our position to support the Palestinian people in Gaza, to support the oppressed Palestinian people throughout Palestine, who are subjected to genocidal crimes in Gaza, is driven by our obligation to support Allah, respond to Him, and obey Him—our faith-based obligation before Him, the Almighty. We take pride in Allah, trusting that He is the Sovereign of the heavens and the earth, the Dominant and the Irresistible, the All-Powerful and the Almighty, the Supreme and the Great.
Our slogan in the outcry against the arrogant, the chant of freedom and dissociation, begins with:
Allah is Greater
Death to America
Death to Israel
Curse upon the Jews
Victory to Islam
It begins with 'Allah is Greater.' We embark with a conscious understanding of the meaning of 'Allah is Greater.' Therefore, Al-Sayyid Hussein Badruddin Al-Houth (May Allah be pleased with him) said at the beginning of the Quranic procession, 'America is a straw,' based on his understanding of this statement: 'Allah is Greater.' Indeed, 'America is a straw.' We take pride in Allah (Glory be to Him), rely on Him, and trust in His truthful promise. He says, {'And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might'}[Al-Hajj 22:40]. We trust in this confirmed divine promise, and we have confidence in this divine affirmation: {'Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.'}Is there any comparison between America, Britain, or all the tyrants, evildoers, and arrogant powers of this world and the might, power, and dominance of Allah? They are nothing in comparison to Allah, the Almighty.
We trust in the words of Allah (Glory be to Him) when He said, {'Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands'}[At-Tawbah 9:14]. We have faith in the repeated promises of Allah in His holy book. We believe in the book of Allah (Glory be to Him), so we embark with confidence, unafraid of the American position and unaffected by it. It cannot disturb our position to the point that makes us retreat from it or weakens it. On the contrary, the more we confront the tyrants, arrogant ones, evildoers, and leaders of disbelief and oppression, the more we have hope in Allah (the Almighty) that He will grant us victory and support us—the more faith we have in His victory and support. Do we imagine that divine support comes when facing an enemy whose capabilities are considered insignificant or who is not at the level of possessing what you have in terms of resources and capabilities?! When we are facing the evildoers, the tyrants, the oppressors, and the corrupters in the earth, we should be most hopeful for the victory, assistance, and support of Allah.
As for the recent designation of terrorism by the Americans, it is laughable. Who are the Americans anyway? The Americans are the ones who sponsor the Zionist criminality in killing children and women in Gaza day and night. The Americans are the ones who have a history of heinous crimes that are unparalleled. They are morally bankrupt and lack morals and values in every aspect. The latest in this context is their disregard for chastity and moral integrity and their adoption of the obscenity of homosexuality. The Americans are the ones who are devoid of morality and humanity. The Americans whose practices and policies are criminal, whose inclinations are all about tyranny, crime, and arrogance, designate others—those oppressed nations whom they initiate aggression against—as terrorists! Aren't they the ones who initiated aggression against our country? Didn't they play a supervising role in the nine-year aggression against our country, then directly attack our navy and kill members of our armed forces? Aren't they the ones who began this direct aggression against our people? Then they come to designate those assaulted, oppressed, and unjustly killed by them as terrorists, while they themselves are the source of criminality, terrorism, and tyranny. The Americans, in the first place, are in no position to designate others in any way. They are in an immoral and inhumane position, devoid of values.
This step comes within the context of their effort to provide protection for the Zionist criminality. Their attacks, airstrikes, and designation hold no significance. Should we worry about it to avoid further airstrikes? Their airstrikes began before the designation, so do their blockade and aggression against us, which started years ago.
Therefore, there is nothing to worry about or that can affect our position. As a Yemeni people, we will continue our assistance, solidarity, and support for the Palestinian people, and we will continue to exert pressure through all means, including continuing our targeting of Israel-linked ships and using military means in targeting with strikes towards occupied Palestine until the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted.
Gaza has the right to have access to food and medical supplies, to receive food and medicine, and to have access points for its needs in terms of food, medicine, and humanitarian requirements by land, sea, and air. This is a legitimate right for the people of Gaza. They should have the right to have an uninterrupted and ceaseless flow of aid through the Rafah crossing, and they should have a maritime passage to Gaza to receive what they need by sea.
The Americans want the seas to be safe only for delivering their assistance and capabilities to the Israeli enemy and allowing the Israeli enemy to receive goods and secure its needs and trade, while the Palestinian people suffer from hunger. It is the right of the Palestinian people to have a maritime passage and secure their needs by, in addition to the Egyptian crossing, sea and by air as well. This is a legitimate right for the Palestinian people, not just limited to the Rafah crossing.
We will confront the American-British aggression that supports Israel and seeks to perpetuate Israeli crimes and Zionist terrorism against the Palestinian people. Our country will place them in the list of countries that protect, sponsor, and support Zionist terrorism. We will designate them accordingly, and our designation of them is well-founded, as they are already complicit in Zionist crimes. In this context, I once again emphasize the call for all countries to avoid getting involved with America and Britain in the aggression against our country and the aggression against the Palestinian people. The Americans seek to drag other countries into directly participating and contributing to the aggression against the Palestinian people. They have implicated Germany in dangerous and highly detrimental positions that directly contribute to the killing of the Palestinian people with tank shells and providing other forms of support for Zionist terrorism. This is what the Americans want: to have others stand with them in supporting Zionist criminality and targeting those who stand against it.
We commend all the positive positions towards the just cause of the Palestinian people, and we emphasize the necessity of actively continuing to support the Palestinian people. In all the previous words, we have warned against apathy. The Palestinian people suffer from oppression every day, and their suffering even intensifies. The longer the siege and starvation continue, the greater their suffering becomes. The ongoing crimes of genocide are also a daily tragedy that significantly adds to their suffering. The tragedy is exacerbated in Gaza, and therefore, the responsibility is multiplied. Now is not the time for weariness or apathy. The responsibility is getting greater and greater on our Islamic Ummah, before anyone else. In Arab countries and elsewhere, each one has a responsibility to the extent of their capabilities, a responsibility before Allah (Glory be to Him), Who will question us about it on the Day of Resurrection.
In many countries, it is within the reach of people to boycott American and Israeli goods, and this can have a direct impact on both the American and Israeli economies. They can boycott the products of any country that becomes more involved in criminal and Zionist activities, and by doing so, they can have a significant impact. Our Ummah is a great ummah, and if this direction is embraced by Arab countries alone, along with other Islamic countries, it can have an impact.
Unfortunately, at the official level in the Muslim world, in Arab countries and elsewhere, official stances have not reached a decisive level in terms of economic boycott, diplomatic boycott, and effective practical actions. However, we, as peoples, should move forward with all that we can. There are countries where the weapon of boycott can be activated to a greater extent, although this responsibility falls on everyone. Those who stand militarily should also stand in the matter of boycott, moving forward with both boycott and military actions. However, other countries can participate in the weapon of boycott and in media advocacy through social media platforms and available means. The stance should be escalated, and active efforts should be made.
If others, as I mentioned at the beginning of the speech, act based on their commitments to Zionism, including Biden, who moved (despite his senility, frailty, old age, and struggle that reached a point where he finds it difficult even to climb the stairs of an airplane) to reach occupied Palestine from a distance of over nine thousand kilometers, exerting himself to align with the Zionists, how can the sons of this Ummah not move with their potentials, abilities, and capabilities in support of the Palestinian people, driven by their religious obligations before Allah?!
It is crucial for efforts to remain active and even expand in all aspects. Demonstrations and marches in various countries, including Western countries, in Europe and America, must continue. Arab and Islamic communities should be able to mobilize those who still possess a sense of humanity within those societies to participate in impactful demonstrations that exert pressure in support of the Palestinian people and against the American involvement and tyranny in favour of the Zionist criminality. This is of utmost importance.
On this occasion, I also address the Yemeni communities, whether in America or in Europe, to actively mobilize their efforts. I have hopes that the Yemeni communities will, as our dear people in Yemen have shown remarkable movement distinct from many other nations, move in a distinctive manner. In other words, they should be more active, more engaged, and more proactive in mobilizing others in demonstrations and in media activities on social platforms and elsewhere to showcase the just cause of the Palestinian people, the extent of Zionist crimes, and the heinousness of the American and British positions, as well as the positions of countries that have taken a similar direction, such as Germany and others. This is of utmost importance.
As for our dear people, I urge them to take out to the streets in the afternoon of the blessed day of Friday in Sana'a at Al-Sabaeen Square, as well as in the rest of the provinces according to their designated arrangements. As usual, this gathering should be a massive million-strong turnout. This gathering, as I mentioned last week, is part of our current position. Our position is a position that is based on jihad in the cause of Allah. Today, our people's position is a position of jihad, an honourable position, and a just position that is within the framework of our religious commitments in response to what those evildoers, criminals, and oppressors do based on their Zionist commitments. Our tomorrow's gathering should be for the sake of Allah and as part of our religious commitments, seeking Allah's pleasure and supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, who are being killed in their hundreds and whose children and women have been martyred in thousands. The tyrants and evildoers of the world have moved against the oppressed Palestinian people to allow the Zionist enemy to continue its criminality. Let us come out tomorrow with a grand and honourable turnout, and let us be wary of apathy. I have warned against apathy. Going out to the demonstration square is a simple act compared to our religious commitments, which reach a level where we are willing to sacrifice ourselves and our wealth for the sake of Allah, the Most High.
The turnout, by the will of Allah, should be a grand and honourable one, as usual. My hope in you is great. I have high hopes in you because of your faith, values, morals, and courage. Also, there will be funeral processions for the martyrs of the American-British aggression tomorrow, Allah willing.
We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah (Glory be to You), have mercy on our martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory, for You are All-Hearing!
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
