TUNISIA May 12. 2024 (Saba) - Leader of Hamas Sami Abu Zuhri asserts that the Gaza resistance effectively countered what he describes as a "global conflict," noting that nations backing the Zionist entity are now retracting their support.
Abu Zuhri made these remarks during a speech event in solidarity with Gaza, titled "al-Aqsa Flood, Pride of a Nation," held at al-Zaytouna University in Tunisia.
He emphasized the necessity of their struggle, expressing readiness to endure further sacrifices for al-Quds. Abu Zuhri highlighted their deliberate planning and the significant costs involved, underscoring their success in challenging the occupation's perceived dominance.
He observed surprise among some leaders at Hamas's resilience, stating that the resistance has stymied expectations of a swift defeat. Abu Zuhri emphasized the resistance's role in countering global conflict and noted a shift in support away from the occupiers.
He depicted Gaza's plight as a wake-up call for the world, asserting a liberation from Zionist media influence.
Abu Zuhri commended the anti-aggression stance taken by university students, particularly in the United States, which he described as under Zionist control.
