TEHRAN July 06. 2024 (Saba) -The Iranian candidate Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday won the second round of the Iranian presidential elections, spokesman for election commission said.
Pezeshkian is the ninth president for the Islamic Republic of Iran, Muhsin Islami added, as the man gained 16,384,403 votes, against 13,538,179 votes for Saeed Jalili.
The second round turnout increased to 49.8 percent of total voters, he said, after two candidates run the elections across the Asian counter and in 100 countries abroad.
