HAJJAH July 14. 2024 (Saba) - An introductory workshop was held on Sunday in Hajjah province on the Renewable Energy Solutions and Innovations Interventions Project to enhance jobs, protect the environment, climate security, and improve livelihoods.

The workshop, organized by the branch of the Supreme Council for the Administration and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the Technical Education Office in the province, aims to introduce the project implemented by the Young Leadership Development Foundation in partnership with the United Nations Development Program in Najra, Shaghadara and Bani al-Awam districts.

The workshop participants reviewed the activities that will be implemented to reach the required results and the project’s role in strengthening ties with the private sector to expand the scope of interventions.

In the workshop, the directors of the Supreme Council branch, Allan Fadael, Technical Education, Dr. Abdullah Adhabi, and Planning, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Malhani, explained the importance of these projects in enhancing the ability to manage local risks and shocks to increase resilience and self-reliance.

For his part, Director of Programs at the Young Leadership Development Foundation, Ahmed Al-Houthi, and Project Coordinator, Sharif Abdul Karim, reviewed the role of these projects in providing sustainable livelihood opportunities and enhancing opportunities for economic recovery by supporting small companies and institutions in the renewable energy sector.
