HAJJAH July 16. 2024 (Saba) - Hajjah province on Tuesday hosted speech activities to mark the anniversary of Imam Hussein's martyrdom, under the slogan "we will never accept humiliation"
Participants chanted slogans affirming their connection with Imam Hussein and their commitment to following his path in supporting the Islamic religion and confronting the tyrants of the era.
The participants emphasized their readiness to defend religion, land, and honor, and to uphold the values of justice, freedom, and dignity.
The people of Hajjah highlighted the significance of commemorating Ashura and the tragedy of Karbala, viewing it as a message of the Qur’an and Islam, and a revival of its values, sacrifices, and revolutionary principles.
They underscored that Karbala is not just a historical event, but a revolution that continues to inspire followers and lovers throughout time.
Governor Hilal al-Sufi, along with judiciary members, security and military leaders, and mobilization officials, led the central activities in the governorate center and districts.
They collectively rejected the hegemony of America, Israel, and their allies, affirming their determination to live with dignity and resist any form of tyranny.
The people of Hajjah reiterated their commitment to reviving the message of the Qur’an and the approach of Islam, rejecting falsehood, corruption, and injustice.
They expressed their solidarity with the people of Gaza and their dedication to the values for which Imam Hussein sacrificed his life.
