TULKARM July 16. 2024 (Saba) - Zionist enemy forces imposed a tight siege on the town of Ramin, east of Tulkarm, effectively turning it into a military barracks after closing all its main entrances.
Eyewitnesses reported that enemy forces have been storming the town for over eight hours, deploying both foot and mobile patrols at its entrances and within its streets and alleys.
Citizens were prevented from leaving or returning to their homes, particularly those working on their agricultural lands or outside the town.
The forces intensified their presence on al-Wad Road, al-Kassarat Road Junction, al-Sadur area, and the Bazaria Junction, blocking the road leading to it. They also mounted the roofs of several houses after raiding and searching them, forcing the owners to leave after interrogations, and seized surveillance camera recordings from homes and shops.
Additionally, a military bulldozer closed side roads with dirt mounds, while occupation forces deployed on all roads and agricultural lands surrounding the towns of Ramin, Kafr Rumman, Anabta, and Bazaria.
In a related development, enemy forces completely closed the Enab military checkpoint east of Tulkarm from the morning hours until now, firing bullets at anyone who approached it, though no injuries have been reported.
