RAMALLAH July 19. 2024 (Saba) - The Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative Party, Mustafa Barghouti, considered on Friday, that the International Court of Justice’s decision represents a “comprehensive and complete condemnation” of the Zionist entity, its occupation and its settlements.
Barghouti said in his blog post on the “X” platform: “The decision represents a comprehensive and complete condemnation of Israel, its occupation, settlement, and its racist policies, which have been classified as a system of apartheid ,and the illegal annexation of the occupied territories, including Al-Quds.”
He added: "The court's decisions represent a solid legal basis for imposing sanctions and boycotts on Israel for violating international laws."
He pointed out that the court decided that the continuation of the occupation is illegal and that “Israel” must withdraw from the occupied territories, remove settlements, cancel its illegal measures, including the wall, compensate the Palestinians for everything that was stolen from them, and allow the Palestinian people to exercise their right to self-determination.
Earlier today, the Court of Justice held a public session at its headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands, to announce its advisory opinion on the legal consequences of the Zionist occupation of the Palestinian territories since 1967.
