OCCUPIED QUDS July 23. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy army spokesman on Tuesday afternoon said that two recruits were injured in the blast of an explosive device on the separation fence northeast of Jenin city in the occupied West Bank.
The Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" reported that the wounded worked in the Ministry of the Army, noting that they approached a suspicious object on the fence during a tour they took near the "Merav" settlement, northeast of Jenin, and then an explosive device exploded, causing minor injuries, after which they were taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, the Hebrew Channel 7 said that the two recruits were transferred to receive treatment at HaEmek Hospital in Afula, where the operation occurred after a malfunction occurred in one of the gates on the separation wall.
The two approached the place to investigate the problem, and an explosive device exploded in the place.
The two were injured by fragments of the device, while it was found that the gate was disrupted by the detonation of an explosive device earlier.
One of the people injured in the attack, named "Yossi Ammar," was quoted as saying that their vehicle was severely damaged as a result of the explosion, while a third explosive device exploded when the rescue teams arrived at the scene, without causing any casualties.
The Zionist enemy forces began combing operations in the area in search of the bombers.
