CARACAS July 29. 2024 (Saba) - The head of the Venezuelan Electoral Council, Elvis Amoroso, announced on Monday that Nicolas Maduro had won a third presidential term after winning 51.2% of the votes of voters in the presidential elections.
Amoroso said that opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia won 44.2% of the votes, thus winning Maduro (61 years old) for a third presidential term in six years.
