RAMALLAH July 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces at dawn on Wednesday stormed the town of Attara, north of Ramallah, and blew up the house of a Palestinian detainee, Mourid Mahmoud Dahhadha.
The Palestinian News Agency quoted local sources as saying that a force of about 30 military vehicles, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed the town at the same time as the occupation closed the entrances to the town with military checkpoints, and blew up the house of Nurse Dahhadha, which is a house under construction located on the third floor of a three-story residential building, and blew up parts of the other two floors hosting his brother and his family.
The same sources added that the occupation forces raided a number of houses, destroyed their contents, and arrested the young man Mahmoud Fahim Khatiri, in his twenties, and detained dozens of citizens, including women.
For their part, eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces tried to prevent citizens from leaving their homes in the town by shooting at them, and vehicles trying to approach the checkpoint at the entrance to the town were targeted with live ammunition and sound bombs, without any injuries being reported.
Last April, the occupation army announced its intention to demolish the house of the detainee Dahadaha, on the grounds that he participated in a shooting operation that took place in January east of Ramallah, noting that he has been detained since January 8.
