NEW YORK August 6. 2024 (Saba) -The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights announced on Tuesday that the Zionist enemy bombed during July at least 17 schools that were sheltered for displaced people from the brutal Zionist aggression.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted OHCHR as shocked by "the unfolding pattern of raids by the Zionist army on schools in Gaza, which kill displaced Palestinians seeking shelter in these schools."
OHCHR said in a statement that at least 17 schools were bombed last month alone, amid reports that at least 163 Palestinians were killed, many of them children and women.
"Over the past eight days, at least seven schools have been targeted, all of which were sheltering displaced people, while Khadija's school was being used as a shelter and a field hospital at the same time," It said.
Since the seventh of last October, the Zionist enemy army has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip, with American and European support, as its planes bomb the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers, and homes of Palestinian civilians and destroy them over the heads of their residents, and prevent the entry of water, food, medicine, and fuel.
