HAJJAH August 17. 2024 (Saba) – An introductory workshop was held in Hajjah province to present a new project aimed at improving primary health care services and protection for mothers and children in several districts.
The Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Hajjah organized a workshop to introduce a project focused on enhancing primary health care services and protection for mothers and children.
This initiative, led by the Building Foundation for Development in partnership with the International Rescue Committee, will be implemented in the districts of al-Maghribah, Abs, Kaidena, Shares, and Mabyan.
The project aims to reduce preventable diseases and lower mortality rates among women and children by providing comprehensive health care services.
During the workshop, director of the Supreme Council branch Allan Fadhayel emphasized the project's significance for improving services in the targeted areas and highlighted the Building Foundation's ongoing efforts.
The workshop also covered the planned health, nutrition, water, sanitation, and child protection activities, including the project's scope, duration, and implementation strategy.
