HAJJAH August 17. 2024 (Saba) -Hajjah on Saturday hosted a meeting, chaired by Governor Hilal al-Sofi, that discussed solutions to tackle floods impacts in the Yemeni northwestern governorate.
The meeting dealt with the damages that totally and partially affected houses, farming lands, water projects, public facilities and roads, and left a number of citizens wounded.
The meeting reviewed emergency interventions provided by the Zakat Authority and Humanitarian Affairs Council to affected people in different districts, and steps needed to relocate displaced camps from floods channels in Abs District.
