GAZA August 23. 2024 (Saba) - At least five Palestinian civilians were killed and others were wounded on Friday afternoon, as the Zionist army shelled the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah.
In the city of Khan Younis, two civilians were killed and others were wounded when the enemy shelled the area of Qizan Abu Rashwan, south of the city, and at least one citizen was killed and a number of others were wounded in the bombing of a house belonging to the Gad Allah family in the Al-Hawoz area of Khan Younis camp.
In Rafah, two young men were killed in shelling targeting the city and were transferred to the Nasser Medical Complex, while the Zionist enemy blew up houses near the Al-Awda Mosque in the center of the city.
The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 40,265 and injuries to 93,144 since the start of the Zionist aggression on the Strip, while a number of victims are still under rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
