TAIZ September 06. 2024 (Saba) — The development team in Taiz province on Frinday organized a cultural evening to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, in collaboration with multi-purpose agricultural cooperative societies.
The event, which took place in the eastern square districts, saw the participation of local officials, including province undersecrecaries Muhammad al-Husayni and Jalal al-Subaihi, as well as Abdulwasie al-Shamsi, the undersecrectary for development and services.
During the evening, al-Shamsi highlighted the significance of the Prophet's birthday as a time to reinforce his teachings and values, emphasizing compassion, solidarity, and support for the needy.
Mobilization official Nasser al-Hamdani stressed the importance of participating in the celebrations on the twelfth of Rabi' al-Awwal to promote the Prophet's example of standing against injustice and remaining steadfast in truth.
Cultural activist Saleh al-Razihi called for the Arab and Islamic nations to return to the Holy Quran to regain pride and dignity.
The evening featured hymns, poetry, and discussions attended by development team members, military and security leaders, and social figures from the eastern square districts.
