Participants in the evenings emphasized that commemorating the Mercy Messenger's birth is a way of thanking God for the great blessing, and that the Yemeni celebration of the birth of light is an extension of the celebrations of their ancestors from Aws and Khazraj on the migration of God Messenger to Medina.
