The newspaper quoted a settler as saying that "no warnings were received" in the city about the possibility of Hezbollah shell. He pointed out that the "Rambam" hospital in Haifa moved all its activities to a parking garage.

The head of the local authority in the settlement of Kiryat Bialik, located north of Haifa, confirmed that the settlers' fears of being hit by Hezbollah rocket fire have been realized.
