Tehran - Saba: On Thursday the Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the ambassadors of Germany and Austria to Tehran to protest the summoning of the heads of the missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Berlin and Vienna.
According to Tasnim International News Agency, following the unacceptable action of Germany and Austria to summon the heads of missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran to protest against Iran's legitimate, responsible and effective response to punish the aggressor Zionist entity, German Ambassador Markus Potzel and Austrian Ambassador Dietrich Heim were summoned to the Foreign Ministry separately.
The Director General for Western Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed in the summons that the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully determined to defend its security, adding: "The action of the Iranian armed forces comes within the framework of the principle of legitimate defense enshrined in Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations and after two months of restraint in order to help establish sustainable stability and security in the region."
He denounced the position of some European countries supporting the Zionist entity and said: "We believe that if the European parties were acting effectively and effectively, including cutting off financial and arms aid to curb the killing and genocide machine used by the Israeli entity, we would not be witnessing such a tragedy today.
The ambassadors of Germany and Austria said they would take the case to their authorities.
