The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Saturday, that air defense systems destroyed 19 Ukrainian UAVs during the night, over four provinces in Russia and the Black Sea.
Sputnik Agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "Last night, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using Ukrainian drones on targets in Russian territory were thwarted, and air defense systems destroyed 19 Ukrainian UAVs ."
The statement added: "Nine of them were shot down over the territory of Belgorod Province, five over the territory of Voronezh Province, three over the Black Sea and one over each of Kursk and Krasnodar Provinces."
The Ukrainian Armed Forces target, almost daily, the Russian border areas in Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh provinces with drones and missiles.
